Press pause on the daily rush and make some time for self-care through creativity – without pressure of the perfect result, without having to plan and prepare, just for the joy of it!
The Creative Evenings are your space to unwind, explore colors, and reconnect with your creativity in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. No prior experience or specific artistic talents needed, just curiosity and the desire to take a little time for yourself.
What is a Creative Evening?
We are meeting once a month on a weekday evening from 6-8pm (always during the last week of the month) in my cosy studio in Basel and spend approximately two hours creating together in a small group.
Each Creative Evening has a different theme we always work on new projects using different media (acrylics, watercolor, collage, gouache,…). It will be varied so that you can try out different things!
All materials are included. Just come and start painting!
The evenings can be booked individually or as a Special Bundle of 3 sessions. This gives you the full flexibility to see which topics and media interest you and which dates fit your agenda.

Workshop Abstract Painting – Acrylics & Mixed Media
Do you like abstract art and want to paint abstractly yourself? Whether you are a beginner or have some previous experience, experience some ‘creative selfcare’ in this 4.5-hour workshop. In several painting projects, supplemented by an exercise in color theory, we will get to know acrylic paints, mixed media and various tools. Express your individual creativity! At the end, you will of course have the option to take home your artistic work. From experience I know that they are often framed and hung up there 😉
Course details
- 4.5-hour workshop including the “artist’s break” in a small group (max. 5 people)
- various exercises and small painting projects in which you create your own individual works to take home afterwards
- a fun loosening up exercise, color theory using a color wheel, individual work on two projects
- including all materials for use during the workshop
- workshop is available in German and English (depending on the needs of the participants)
- ‘Artist break’ with a Swiss-style apéro plättli (your choice of vegetarian or with meat) and drinks (coffee, tea, water, orange juice)
- Time for your questions
- Please bring: Dried acrylic paint does not wash out of clothing. Therefore, please wear suitable clothing that you don’t mind getting paint on (e.g. an old t-shirt) or bring it with you. Changing is possible in the washroom.
