Creative Evening ‘Mediterranean Motifs with Gouache – Lemon twig & Majolica tiles’ • Thursday, 26 June 2025 I 6-8 pm I Basel
We will invite summer in with our paintings this month! Using gouache paints, we will paint motifs that will bring the warmth of the Mediterranean and the fresh scent of lemons into the studio: a lemon branch in front of blue and white majolica tiles.
Gouache is an velvety matt paint that can be diluted with water in a similar way to watercolor, but has the opaque qualities of acrylics. Perfect for creating vibrant shapes and details.
What you can expect – your Creative Evening at a glance:
- Theme: Paint a Mediterranean still life – a lemon twig in front of decorative majolica tiles – with the velvety, opaque gouache paints.
- Course of events: Brief introduction to the gouache paints and the colors we will be using. The motif is already prepared for you as a template on satin paper, so that we can start painting right away. We will paint the motif together step by step and I will give you instructions and tips on the painting process.
- Suitable for everyone: No previous knowledge or special skills required. You will receive guidance and have the opportunity to get to know gouache colors.
- Everything included: All materials (gouache paints, paper, brushes) and drinks (water, tea, coffee). Just come and paint!
- Small group: Maximum of 4 people – for a personal, relaxed atmosphere.
- Course language: German and English (depending on the needs of the participants)

Enrollment/Booking
Enrollment is possible via purchase on the website/online shop, via the contact form or with me personally. It is binding and will be considered in the order of receipt. If you buy here on the website/online shop, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail within a few minutes of completing your order (please check your spam folder in case you don’t see it).
Enrollment for the April Creative Evening is possible until 24th June 2025 at 11:59 pm.
Payment of course fee
At checkout, you can choose between the payment methods TWINT, credit card or payment by invoice (bank transfer). If you chose to pay by invoice, you will receive a QR invoice from me by e-mail within 1-2 days after completing the order process in the shop. Please pay the course fee before the course starts.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation of the booking is free of charge up to 7 days before the event, i.e. by 19 June 2025.
If you cancel 7 or less days before the workshop, 25% of the course fee will be charged. If you cancel 3 or less days before the start of the course, 50% of the course fee will be charged.
Non-payment of the course fee does not count as de-registration. In cases of hardship, such as prolonged and medically proven illness or an accident, a maximum of 50% of the course fees can be refunded or credited towards a new course. The decision as to whether a credit will be granted will only be made following a written request.
No reduction in course fees will be granted for absences. Refunds of course fees after the start of the course are generally excluded.
