Creative Evening ‘Cosy Autumn Watercolor’ • Thursday, 29 October 2026 I 6-8 pm I Basel
Outside, nature is slowly turning orange, red, and yellow. Inside, it’s time for tea, bright, warm colors, and a little bit of autumnal ambiance. Fall is the most beautiful time for creativity.
In October, I would like to paint a seasonal motif in autumnal hues with you using watercolors, with a small, cozy group.
The motif is not quite decided yet, but I have a few beautiful fall-inspired motifs in mind: pumpkins, colorful leaves, mushrooms, a door decorated for fall, a cozy cottage, a little cabin in an autumn forest, a wreath of flowers in fall colors…
I’ll prepare the design after October 10 (the studio-store’s opening day) and show it to you as soon as it’s ready.
What you can expect – your Creative Evening at a glance:
- Theme: Autumnal Watercolor – we’ll paint a beautiful seasonal motif in warm fall colors
- Course of events: We will paint together, step by step, either using a template/sketch or freehand – depending on the complexity of the final design. I’ll guide you through the process and am always available to answer questions and offer tips.
- Suitable for everyone: No prior experience with watercolors or special skills required – just a little curiosity about watercolors is enough.
- Everything included: All materials (watercolor paper, watercolors, brushes, etc.) as well as beverages (water, tea, coffee) and a small snack. Just come and paint.
- Small group: maximum 6 people – for a personal, relaxed atmosphere.
- Course language: German and English (depending on the needs of the participants)

How to get there:
- by public transport: Take tram No. 11 to the Mühlhauserstrasse stop, or BVB bus line 30 to the Johanniterbrücke stop (approx. 450 m walk)
- by car: Parking is available in the St. Johanns neighborhood in the Blue Zone (with a parking disc, you may park for 1 hour during the day from Mon–Sat, 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. From 7:00 PM to 8:00 AM and on Sundays, parking is usually free). Nearest parking garage: Parkhaus City at the University Hospital (approx. 800 m walk)
- by bicycle: Bike parking is located diagonally across the street from the studio at the entrance to St. Johanns Park

Enrollment/Booking
Enrollment for the workshop is possible via purchase on the website/online shop, via the contact form or with me personally. It is binding and will be considered in the order in which it is received.
Enrollment for this Creative Evening is possible until Tuesday, 27 October 2026 at 11:59 pm.
Payment of course fee
You can choose between the following payment methods at checkout:
- TWINT,
- credit card or
- payment by invoice (bank transfer or in cash in the studio). If you chose to pay by invoice, you will receive a QR invoice from me by e-mail within 1-2 days after completing the order process in the shop.
Please pay the course fee before the course begins.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation of the booking is free of charge up to 7 days before the workshop, i.e. 22 October 2026 (inclusive).
- If the cancellation occurs later than 7 days before the workshop 25% of the course fee will be charged.
- If the cancellation occurs between 3 days and 24 hours before the course, 50% of the course fee will be charged.
- For cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start of the course, or in the event of absence, no refund of the course fee will be granted.
- Refunds of course fees after the start of the course are generally excluded.
If you need to cancel at short notice, you can transfer your place to another person. In this case, please let me know the name of the replacement in advance.
Non-payment of the course fee does not constitute cancellation. In cases of hardship, such as prolonged illness or accident certified by a doctor, a maximum of 50% of the course fees can be refunded or credited towards a new course. The decision on whether to grant a credit will only be made upon written request.
